On April 16, Sheng Laiyun, deputy director of the National Bureau of Statistics, said at a press conference of the State Council Information Office that a new pattern of China's economy driven by domestic demand and innovation is taking shape. In the past five years, the average contribution rate of domestic demand to economic growth has exceeded 80%. In 2024, the added value of the "three new" industries has exceeded 18% of GDP. The added value of the core industry of digital products also accounts for about 10% of GDP. This is conducive to enhancing the coordination and stability of China's economy.
