The founder of HashFlare was asked by the US Department of Homeland Security to leave the country, contradicting a court order
According to Decrypt, the Estonian co-founders of HashFlare crypto mining company, Sergei Potapenko and Ivan Turžgin, received a notice from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) ordering them to leave the U.S. "immediately" or face enforcement action. This directive directly conflicts with a court order requiring them to remain in King County, Washington. The two pleaded guilty in February to fraud through a false cryptocurrency mining contract and agreed to forfeit about $400 million in assets.
