CBS and Public Opinion recently conducted a public opinion survey. The survey results show that the American people are increasingly dissatisfied with the tariff policy and are less optimistic about the economic situation in the United States from various angles. The results show that 75% of the respondents expect that the US government's tariff policy will increase prices in the United States in the short term. In the long term, 48% of the respondents believe that the tariff increase will cause prices to rise in the United States. The survey also shows that 65% of the respondents expect the US economy to deteriorate in the short term due to the tariff increase. In addition, the poll also reflects that the American people's confidence in the US economy is declining.
