Survey: About 21% of Americans own cryptocurrency, and 76% of them say they have benefited from it

According to Cryptoslate, a survey conducted by Harris Polling found that about 55 million (21% of the population) U.S. adults currently own cryptocurrencies, and 76% of holders believe their experience with digital assets has had a positive impact on them personally. The survey shows that the gender gap is narrowing, with women accounting for 31% of cryptocurrency holders, compared to 67% of men. The number of cryptocurrency holders has increased at all income levels, with households earning less than $75,000 a year now accounting for 26% of all cryptocurrency holders. The report highlights that lower barriers to entry help low-income groups adopt cryptocurrencies. The poll interviewed 53,805 U.S. adults to determine a representative sample of 10,000 current cryptocurrency holders.
