Vitalik Shares Ethereum L1 Simple Privacy Roadmap
Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, shares the Ethereum L1 Easy Privacy Roadmap. This includes ideas to improve Ethereum user privacy without changing the Ethereum consensus, and focuses on four forms of privacy: on-chain payment privacy, partial anonymization of on-chain activities in applications, on-chain read privacy, and network anonymity. Solutions include integrating privacy tools such as Railgun into wallets, defaulting to "one address per application", implementing FOCIL and EIP-7701, and using TEE and PIR technologies to protect RPC privacy, with the aim of enhancing user privacy and reducing metadata leakage.
