AI-powered crypto security platform Octane announced the completion of a $6.75 million seed round, led by Archetype and Winklevoss Capital, and participated in by Gemini Frontier Fund, the venture capital arm of cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, Circle, Duke Capital Partners, and a group of strategic angel investors including former Coinbase CTO Balaji Srinivasan. The platform already has 15 enterprise customers, including stablecoin USDC issuer Circle, cross-chain trading tools Decent.xyz Gemini is also exploring the integration of Octane's technology.
